Designing for Prega News, which was diversifying into a complete pregnancy solution brand, was an exciting challenge for us at Elephant Design. We wanted to ensure that each product—from preconception supplements to detection kits—had its own identity while still being unmistakably part of the Prega News family. To achieve this, we focused on a design strategy that prioritized clarity and ease of use. By emphasizing key benefits and using a modern colour palette, we crafted a visual language that speaks directly to the needs of women. Our work extended beyond packaging, where we designed a unified look that seamlessly ties into posters and point-of-sale displays. The new Prega News line-up is not just visible but memorable, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to supporting women throughout their pregnancy journey.

The challenge was clear: create a special edition pack that not only stands out but also reinforces Saffola’s presence. The team took this challenge to heart, choosing the 'New Beginnings' theme, crafting a design that celebrates the optimism and renewal synonymous with Onam. By weaving in vibrant cultural elements—like the iconic Vellam Kali boat race and the communal joy of festive meals—we ensured the packaging not only captures attention but also connects emotionally with consumers, making Saffola Oats the preferred choice during the celebrations. This design isn't just festive; it’s an exercise in packtivation and cultural relevance.

Excited to share our collaboration with Fonterra, the largest dairy producer in the Southern hemisphere, to revamp the packaging for PediaPro in Sri Lanka! Our task was to create a design that would boost consumer awareness and strengthen PediaPro's brand presence amongst their target audience - namely mothers, and irregular buyers.

Our team started by emphasizing PediaPro's scientific approach, reassuring new mothers of its nutritional reliability for their children. We highlighted the Iron and Omega-3 content, keeping these vital nutrients front and centre. We incorporated a vibrant palette and modernized fonts and blended emotional appeal with scientific elements, featuring a mascot and PediaPro's iconic imagery.

It's been a rewarding experience to help Fonterra connect with Sri Lankan mothers as the dairy giant becomes the go-to option for all-round baby nutrition!

Consequently, we at Elephant Design helped them create Granamma - a brand offering authentic flavors with superior quality. Our design? A clean identity with a banana leaf motif, a signature-like font for grandma's touch, and a dynamic "snackfall" showcasing abundance and texture. Granamma's packaging tackles freshness & hygiene concerns, bringing traditional snacking into a modern, organized form. Keep an eye out on your nearest retail shelves for a glimpse!
